Terms of Service

Effective October 14, 2026

These terms apply when you use emryherring.com or buy programs or coaching from Emry Herring, doing business as HeftyLefty Strength Systems ("I," "me"). By using the site or buying from me, you agree to them.

Who can use my services

You must be at least 18, or be 13 to 17 with permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you. My services aren't available to children under 13.

Fitness and health disclaimer

Not medical advice. I'm a coach, not a doctor. Nothing on this site, in my programs, or in coaching is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Talk to your doctor first. Check with a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, are pregnant, or haven't trained in a while.
Listen to your body. Stop exercising and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, or shortness of breath.
You train at your own risk. Strength training carries a risk of injury. You're responsible for using proper form, appropriate weights, safe equipment, and spotters when needed.
Results vary. Results depend on your effort, consistency, sleep, nutrition, and genetics. I don't guarantee any specific result.

Pre-built programs

Programs are digital products, delivered electronically after payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and the price is shown before you pay.
Personal use only. Buying a program gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it yourself. Please don't share, resell, or repost it.
All sales are final once a program is delivered. Because programs are digital and can't be returned, I don't offer refunds after delivery. The exceptions: if you were charged twice by mistake, or if a file won't open and I can't fix it, email me within 14 days of purchase and I'll make it right.

1 on 1 coaching

Coaching is paid month to month and doesn't renew automatically. Each month, I'll send you a payment link, and you choose whether to continue.
The price is confirmed with you before you pay. Each paid month covers the coaching that follows the payment.
You can stop anytime by not paying for the next month. Months already paid for aren't refunded once they've started.
If I need to end coaching early, I'll refund the unused part of your current month.

Free programs

Free programs are provided as-is. The fitness and health disclaimer above applies to them too.

Reviews you submit

By submitting a review, you confirm it's honest and based on your own experience. If you give permission to publish it, you allow me to display it on this site, including your name as you entered it. I may fix obvious typos or shorten a review for length without changing its meaning. You can ask me to remove it anytime.

My content

Everything on this site, including programs, text, photos, videos, and branding, belongs to me or is used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse it without my written OK.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I'm not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that results from using this site, my programs, or my coaching. If I am found liable for anything, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.

Changes

I may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don't affect purchases you've already made.
